Fresh Homemade Salsa
Roasted Hot Salsa
All it takes is a bowl full of veggies and our Taco seasoning to make your new go-to fresh salsa!
6 roma tomatoes
3 jalapeños (use less if you prefer mild)
1 medium white onion
1/2 red bell pepper
1 head of garlic
1/2 bunch cilantro
2 limes, juiced
1-2 tbls Serious Seasonings Taco seasoning
Salt to taste
Directions
Halve your tomatoes, jalapeños, bell pepper, and onion.
Add to a bowl, drizzle with olive oil and add our taco seasoning.
Shake to cover and dump on a lined sheetpan (skin side up).
Cut the top off the full head of garlic and drizzle with olive oil.
Roast at 400f for 45-60min until good color develops and your onion is softened. Let cool until warm/room temp.
Add your veggies, roasted garlic cloves, lime juice, and cilantro to a blender. Salt to taste.
Blend to desired consistency (pulse if you prefer chunky salsa).
Serve immediately w/lime wedges or keep in the fridge for up to 5 days (if it lasts that long).
